Privacy Policy

Please do not send confidential case details through this website. Contacting me here does not create an attorney-client relationship, and anything you send before I agree in writing to represent you may not be protected by attorney-client privilege. What you give me
If you fill in a form on this site, I collect what you type into it. That is normally your name, email address, phone number, a short description of what you need help with, and your court date if you have one.
It is emailed to me and also stored inside this website, so that an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive.
What is collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, the device and browser you use, the pages you look at, how long you stay, and the site or search that sent you here. This is collected through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
I also record when someone clicks the phone number or the email address, so I can tell how people prefer to get in touch.
Spam protection
The forms on this site use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks in the background whether a submission looks automated. Google’s own privacy policy and terms apply to that check.
Who else sees it
I do not sell your information and I do not share it for advertising.
It is handled by Google, for analytics and reCAPTCHA; by the company that hosts this website; and by my email provider. Each of them processes it only so that the site and my inbox work. I will also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries stay in my email and in the website’s records for as long as I may need them to respond to you or to keep a record of the matter. Analytics data is held on Google’s standard retention schedule. If you would like an enquiry you sent deleted, ask me and I will.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for analytics and for spam protection. You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
Children
This site is not intended for children and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
